Estee Lauder Solid Perfume and Lucidity Powder compacts have been around for many years...
While solids have always been considered collectibles, the powder compacts have slowly been coming into their own now in recent years.
For many years, they were fairly plain, but in the last few years they have become "crystalized", with the design styles of Judith Leiber and Katherine Baumann for instance.
Some of these compacts are extremely intricate with their crystal designs (especially the Judith Leiber designs - they typically run in the $300+ range). I don't personally own any Leiber compacts (can't afford them!), but perhaps when I'm in my eighties...
However, the EL company designers are doing a wonderful job also! The pictures on this page represent some of the in-house design work, and they are gorgeous!
If anyone else shares a love for these compacts, please post your favorite pictures here, or tell us about the compact details (name/date, etc.)!
